I've been asked for copies of recipes for years, and after talking to friends who have blogs, decided this might be the best way to share what I've been cooking. Some recipes I've come up with myself, but if I get the recipe from a friend, magazine, another blog, etc., I will always tell you its origin. I am a member of the Royal Ladies' Tea Society and love to attend teas. In addition to enjoying visits to tea rooms, I love to host teas in my home. Some of my blog entries will include these events. For variety, I try at least one new recipe each week. In order to determine whether or not a recipe should be kept and made again, I ask my guys to rate it on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best ever. They, however, never give anything a 10 as they think there is always room for improvement, so in my house, 9 is the new 10! I will let you know what the Melnarik rating is on each recipe.
